Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This page describes how Blue Harbor Property Services ("Blue Harbor", "we", "us") handles personal information. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of our services, including:

  • Waitlist submissions: name, email, phone (optional), property name, unit number.
  • Account registration: name, email, password (stored as a salted hash by our authentication provider), and authentication metadata.
  • Subscription and billing records, including the last four digits of your payment method and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Full card numbers are processed by Stripe and never stored on Blue Harbor systems.
  • Vendor applications: business name, contact details, service category, service area, references, and any documents you choose to upload.
  • Referral program information: referral codes you share or use, attribution of which referral led to a signup, qualification status of a referral, and any account credits issued or applied as a result.
  • Contact-form submissions and any messages you send us.
  • Limited technical data (e.g., IP address, browser type) collected by our hosting and analytics providers for security and basic usage measurement.

2. How We Use Information

  • To deliver valet trash and related services and to notify you about availability at your community.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
  • To respond to inquiries and service requests.
  • To review vendor applications and evaluate potential business partnerships.
  • To operate the referral program, including attributing referrals, determining whether a referral qualifies, and issuing or applying eligible account credits.
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing, service status). Marketing emails are sent only when you have opted in, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Service Providers We Use

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the website and deliver our services. Each provider processes information only as reasonably needed to deliver its service to us.

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe processes payment information according to Stripe's own privacy practices.
  • Google — optional authentication (sign-in with Google), used only if you choose that sign-in method.
  • Lovable Cloud — application database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Email delivery providers used to send transactional and service-related messages.

4. Service Providers and Business Partners

We may share personal information with service providers and approved business partners when reasonably necessary to operate our website, process payments, respond to inquiries, coordinate a service requested by the customer, maintain our systems, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations. The information shared depends on the service or request involved. Blue Harbor does not sell personal information to vendors or service providers.

  • A vendor or business partner does not automatically receive all customer information.
  • We share only the information reasonably needed to evaluate, schedule, quote, or perform a requested service.
  • Vendor applications and vendor-business information submitted to us are used to evaluate potential partnerships.
  • If your property is served under a property-wide agreement, we may share limited service information (e.g., service compliance and issue reports) with the property's authorized representatives.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with your direction.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the site. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand basic usage of the website.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Waitlist entries are retained until you ask us to remove them or until the underlying purpose no longer applies. Billing and tax records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting rules. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting us, subject to the limits above.

7. Your Choices

  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@yourblueharbor.com.
  • You may close your account from your account portal or by emailing us.
  • You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

8. SMS Communications

Blue Harbor does not currently send marketing SMS messages. If we add SMS messaging in the future, we will obtain your express opt-in consent in compliance with applicable law (including the TCPA), and message frequency, opt-out instructions, and supported carriers will be disclosed at the point of sign-up.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), database row-level security, authenticated access controls, and Stripe-hosted payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Blue Harbor is intended for adults. Accounts may only be created by individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice.
