Referral Program Terms

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who can participate

Any Blue Harbor resident with an active direct-to-resident subscription may share their referral code with neighbors. Referrals from residents at communities served under a property-sponsored contract are not eligible for credits (their building already pays for the service).

2. How a referral qualifies

A referral qualifies when (a) the referred neighbor signs up for a direct-to-resident Blue Harbor subscription using your code, AND (b) their first paid subscription invoice settles successfully. The credit is issued after that first paid invoice, not at signup. Signups at property-sponsored buildings do not qualify.

3. Reward

For each qualified referral you earn a $5 Blue Harbor account credit. There is no cap on the number of credits you can earn over time.

4. How credits apply

Available referral credits are applied automatically to your next eligible Blue Harbor invoice. Credits are stackable — multiple credits combine on the same invoice, and may reduce an eligible invoice all the way to $0. Unused credit rolls forward to future eligible invoices. Credits have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable.

Credits apply to eligible recurring resident subscription invoices. Credits do not apply to one-time charges, deposits, taxes, tips, property-sponsored invoices, or invoices billed in any currency other than U.S. dollars.

5. Expiration

Credits expire 12 months from the date they are issued. Expired credits cannot be restored.

6. Reversal

If a referred neighbor's first payment is refunded or charged back within 60 days, the corresponding referral is reversed. Unused credit is removed. If the credit was already applied to an invoice, no debit is issued, but no further credit will be granted for that referral.

7. Fraud and abuse

The following are not eligible and may be flagged or removed without notice: self-referrals; referrals between residents of the same unit; referrals between accounts sharing a phone number or a private email domain; unusual signup velocity from a single code; or any attempt to manipulate the program. Blue Harbor reserves the right to investigate, withhold credits, and terminate participation in the program for any account at its sole discretion.

8. Property-sponsored exclusion

If the referred neighbor's building has a property-wide Blue Harbor contract, the building (not the resident) is the customer. These signups will be marked "ineligible — property sponsored" and no credit will be issued. This protects the property's contract pricing and avoids double billing.

9. Changes

Blue Harbor may change or end this program at any time. Credits already issued will continue to be honored under the rules in effect when they were issued, subject to the expiration date.
